All Saints, Yelling Recently, a Restoration Committee has raised further larger sums towards vital repairs. Work on the tower has included stabilizing and re-pointing the walls, with a new roof and repairs to the spiral staircase. The tops of the north aisle walls have been rebuilt, the roof re-slated, the south porch re-pointed and the whole electrical system re-wired. Recent fund raising is earmarked for interior redecoration. The P.C.C. would like to take this opportunity to thank the Restoration Committee, and all those who have contributed to the fund raising for their hard work and generosity. Photograph and Text by Peter Eveleigh (2000) In addition, the P.C.C. have organized repairs to the font, a water-tap at the lych gate, a new notice board, a reading lamp on the pulpit lectern, new Common Worship books, and the re-roofing of the lych gate; whilst the Parish Council have generously donated and installed a floodlight for the tower area.
