The service The details of the service will be explained at the baptism preparation evening. We are also very happy to discuss with you any special arrangements you would like, like a favourite hymn, or if there is a family member who would like to read the Bible reading that day, or so on. We want to do everything we can to make this day happy and memorable for you, so please ask if there is something you would like. One thing we are often asked is if people can video the service. Because of copyright reasons relating to the text of the service itself we are, sadly, not able to allow this. After the baptism service We would like to be able to support you as your child grows. You are invited to come to the next Planning your Child’s Baptism appropriate service in your parish, where there is a special welcome for every child who is baptised in our Team, and where you can get to know other people in our congregations. We hope very much you will accept this invitation. Costs The baptism service doesn’t cost anything. There is no charge for it or for any of the preparation. If you would like to give a donation there is a gift aid form in the pack so that we can claim tax back on your gift. Donations can be made in a cheque to Papworth Team Ministry or at the service on the day.
